We offer the following quality courses:


BSS Instructor Training (4 Days)

This is a 4 day training for trainers course which equips participants to teach basic 2 day BSS within their own organisation. Participants must fully meet the requirements of the BSS Instructor Personal Specification and comply with the BSS Ground Rules for participation.

 


Basic BSS Training (2 Days)

This is a basic training offered to direct care staff. The course is designed for direct care staff carers and volunteers who support people who for whatever reason have challenging reputations.

 


BSS Instructors Re-certification Day (1 Day)

All BSS Instructors must attend an annual 1 day re-certification course.

 


Additional Holds Training (1 Day)

Practice Session for Physical Interventions (2 Hours)

Costs: £150. Additional costs for travel and expenses will be added.

 

 

 

BSS Instructor/Assistant Instructor Trainer, Training/Supporting within another organisation

Costs £400. Additional costs for travel and expenses will be added.


Small Holds Training (1/2 Day)

This is a half day course taught to BSS certificated Instructors who are working with children or smaller adults.
